Great to see you! :)

Thanks Tented.

Great to hear from you guys.

Unfortunately I've been swamped recently with personal stuff, so haven't had a chance to post at all or see a lot of tennis.

Every once a while though I do try to read up a few posts from you guys. Makes life better.

Disappointed with Rafa's recent slump. I do hope that he returns to his form self at some point.

Welcome! Where from in Asia? I've been living in Japan since 1991!

Which part of Japan Kiri? I worked in Tokyo for a few months just before the turn of the millenium. It was great fun. I still have foggy memories of Roppongi :) A lot of Sake was drunk, and unspeakable things were done :D

Really? Cool! Sake is fun but I want to die the next morning so I have to avoid it. I live in southern Japan. Rarely ever get up to Tokyo. How's your nihongo? ;)

Here's a thread about where I am.

Lol! It's been years, and I can barely remember any colloquialisms. I remember having a drinking competition with one of the American guys based from the Tokyo office. And the weapon of choice was warm sake. After a bottle and a half each, I started shivering. I should add this was in mid August and the temperature outside was in the 90s. My girlfriend had to get me back to the hotel room. I was convinced I'd damaged my liver! :laydownlaughing

My abiding memory was getting out of clubs at 3 - 4 am in the morning and the sun shining outside like it was noon. Truly bizarre! But they've adjusted their time zone I guess. I'll check out your link :)

Valley Forge, PA - about 25 minutes west of Philadelphia

It's a great bike ride from Philly to Valley Forge along the schuylkill. I used to do it when I lived there for six months.
