Love recalling old gongoozler--a legend indeed!! Those days with MikeOne droning on about Pistol Pete and Prangy and the rest was a riot. Those were back in the days when Federer was the king at the table and the rest were scratching their steely knives as it were. Good times.

It ended when a bunch of anti-sampras trolls ganged up on a poster that went by Pete. Well there was a lot of sideline stuff but underneath all the comical antics, a lot of people did actually post some good shit about tennis.  Crack reminded me of vegemite (like it or loath it)... and went after a few people, but he did have a good take on tennis... as long as you weren't talking Nadal.  I thought he was fricken hilarious at times... I guess he was just uncontrollable.  But he wrote really well and was very entertaining.

Best post crack posted was making fun of huntingyou where he made up a story about huntingyou doing a backflip and accidently ending up with his hand deep in his ass, just like his idol nadal. The way he told the story was hillarious.. He had creative writing skills.

Yeah, we'll keep that kind of ugly stuff off these boards - that kind of when over the line. Strong opinions always welcome though.

It was eerie though! Everyone was checking to see who had been canned!

I miss that era. Golden era in tennisforums history IMO. Never duplicated

To think, things were so wild, I was considered among the reasonable and moderate ones back then.

I'll get in touch with him and see if he's up to returning. When TF first went up he said he'd join but never did. I emailed him a couple of times after but probably got labelled as spam. Good poster and hit with Borg if I recollect....

Clay Death (wizard/Hercules/Samson) was entertaining man... I used to like him because there was never a dull moment... but the two of them together was like mixing petrol with fire.
