Feli Lopez loses also to Berrettini, so now there is only one seeded player left in the field, RBA.
So happy for Djere's success, but I am afraid he lost too much energy against Galovic (2h40' long match) so may be out of gas in the semi against Bautista.
On your prompt, I looked around including in Spanish, but nothing. Apparently, he has other goals in tennis than just that one record of Roger's.Is Lopez hanging the racquet at the end of this year, now that he has beat Fed's record and got a Tounrament chair post somewhere.

It's Madrid and it started this year. I get you that it implies he's moving from player to post-playing years, but there are no announcements about retirement. He's actually talked about how lucky he's been in terms of his health. But, yeah...he's working on his post-player strategy. But, is not he tournament manager of some tourney in Spain (is it Barcy?) starting from next year?

Yeah, I get the parallel, but Haas was many years injured and all-but retired. Lopez could keep his hand in active tennis, while managing one tournament a year, as long as he's healthy. I've said this of others: if you can make decent $ in tennis, there's no reason to retire. While Lopez is still making the main draw, I don't know why he wouldn't keep playing. I seriously doubt that the Madrid tournament is playing him enough for him to quit tennis, at this point.Tommy Haas also was kind of doing both playing and managing for an year or two before quitting officially. So, Deliciano may be following his foot steps.
