Thought I'd spin up a thread for this game.

Can KC 3-peat? I reckon Saquon and company will have a lot to say about it. We already know Spags will try and dial up the defense to contain Barkley.

The wildcard and deciding factor will be the Philly defense. If they can bring pressure and put Patrick on his backside, they'll have a really good chance.

Ha! Eagles D doing exactly what I said they had to do. Putting Mahomes on his back. They lead 17-0 w/ 7 min left in the 2nd.

Yep and KC went on to lose that one to ole man Brady. Let's see if the Chiefs can do a miraculous comeback like Brady did against ATL. I don't see it. Philly is a much better team than ATL was.

Who would have guessed that this game would be a total snore?! Well, they did right by New Orleans, so I was happy with that.

That's the 1 good thing about this game; Tom Brady's associated with something else that's boring AF! He got that ridiculous contract from Fox Sports just gifting him $100's of millions "just because!" The sports shows w/b insufferable & hypocritical after this upset! :angry-face::astonished-face::fearful-face::face-vomiting:

Well Brady’s legacy is safe for now, unfair but Mahomes greatness is now measured against other all time greats.

I dunno , while Brady was also 3-2 in SB’s at one point, both Mahomes losses were blowouts plus he was 0-2 in head2head in playoff games versus Brady.

The “3 peat” was Mahomes’ best bet to augment his GOAT status , because the odds of his making an unprecedented 5th straight SB appearance next season are daunting.

Side note: Andy Reid looks frail & unhealthy, can’t seem him coaching past a few more year in KC

ETA: Correction; the Chiefs have only made 3 straight SB appearances so 2026 would be the 4th.

Reid can't hold on forever! He's gotten old, is still out of shape, & dealing w/ the stress of repeating this success yr. in & yr. out! All this is daunting to go along w/ a crazy personal life! IDK why he bothers w/ commercials unless just trying to max out a money grab! :astonished-face::yawningface::fearful-face::exploding-head:

Figured it’d be a close game which typically means a Chiefs win with zebra assistance. Ended up turning on Netflix after the opening drive of the 2nd half as it was clearly over by then.

Philly’s D-line is what made this a blowout, similar to the other one Mahomes lost against Tampa. Philly’s offense moved the ball and played well but not 40 points well.

This really should have been our 2nd Championship in 3 years. To think we were robbed of a title because of a very bad holding penalty. This time, we left no doubt.

OMG Keli, you were expecting a booty shaking rhythm thumping entertainment, that's not who Kendrick Lamar is. Kendrick is a thought provoking message deliver.. Every facet of his performance was delivering a message. the little nuances about the current state of America and how divided we are and how everyone is running away from a UNION.. ( watch it again and look for his messages) I am too old school hip hop for today's music . However, I did catch his message which was sheer brilliance.. A lot better than Usher roller skating on stage singing about nothing! IMO just my two cent worth and I do understand your sentiment

WOW.. How did you escape? I thought you were exiled into the phantom zone forever.. It must have been a lost nuclear bomb that freed you and General Zod!! Hey dude, that was a complete ass whipping. Andy Reid let Underdog's Riff Raff

and staff out coach him. Philly will fall back to earth next year and my 49ers will destroy them in the NFC championship game if the Eagles maker it that far.

Before we hand this over to Brady, remember that Joe Montana won 4 SBs, MVP in 3 and NEVER threw an interception in 4 SBs while playing in the era of DEFENSE Carte Blanche years when a defender could knock a qbs junk into the dirt and step on it without getting a personal foul or unnecessary roughest penalty.. I think Joe's QBR was over 120 , I'm not sure.

Reid, Mahomes, & The Chiefs have been sabotaging themselves for years going back to that playoff game they lost to The Patriots turning the ball over early and going down 2 TD! That Houston playoff game had them down 0-24 before coming back! That is where their legend comes from, but it shows incompetence early as they allow teams to compete when they're supposedly superior! :angry-face::astonished-face::yawningface::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

It was a different era, tougher on QB’s no doubt.

Great arguments for Joe, but also keep in mind Montana played in an era where moneybags Ed Debartolo Jr could keep the same players around him because no salary cap, the talent with Joe was pretty much intact, whereas Tom & salary caps.. was Randy Moss the only truly great receiver Tom played with for the bulk of his career?

Brady’s numbers are crazy because he holds all time records for regular season, playoffs AND the Superbowl.

Most TD passes in regular season, most in playoffs, and most in SuperBowl.

Like Djokovic Bradys numbers simply overwhelm you, 10 SB’s, 7 SB rings and a SB for teams in both conferences.

That Tampa win kinda sets him apart IMO.

Mahomes has plenty of time to catch up to Brady! I seriously doubt Pat will go a decade w/o winning a SB! - Novak's #'s are unattainable! I don't think you realize how many records he owns & are set so high, they may never be achieved by anyone else w/o some modification like going to "Next Gen. YEC" scoring! He's not done, but already has 2 Golden Masters, 1 Monte Carlo title from 3! He has 3 CGS & 1 FO from a 4th! Who will ever approach 428 Wks. @ #1? Djokovic has 8 YE #1's; 2 more than Sampras, & 3 more than Fedal & Connors! He waited until he was middle aged before winning 2 more YEC's to have a rec. 7 Chp.! These are just a few records OTTH! After all's said & done, Nole might own them all; except of course anything having to do w/ the FO! Nadal has that locked up! :face-with-hand-over-mouth::fearful-face::yawningface::astonished-face:
