As others have pointed out, getting rid of the second serve is, essentially, the same as getting rid of the first serve. So if every serve is a second serve, my first thought is how many ROS winners there would be, opponents taking control of the points, breaks of serve, more tiebreaks -- the time when the first serve is so critical, yet basically wouldn't exist anymore.
Getting rid of the let rule is a good idea, which Martina and McEnroe (among others) have been pushing for years. That makes sense. How many times have you seen what should have been an ace negated because the ball touched the net? And how often does the ball clearly not touch the net, yet that sensor goes off anyway?
