I did feel for Robredo but Andy needed this title. It's been a very tough year. The draw for next week is a nightmare so Andy will need to step it up.

Happy for my boy though. Not happy I had to get up early on Saturday AND Sunday to see him. So glad it's a bank holiday tomorrow. A long lie is required.

Poor old Tommy could barely move in the decider and it's over in a flash. Murray wins his first title since Wimbledon 2013.

It's only Shenzhen, it was only Robredo, the third set was a non-contest and he did have to save 5 championship points in the second set, but it's a title all the same. A step in the right direction.

A title is a title. This will give Murray tremendous confidence to carry on fighting the
remainder of the season and make it to WTF.

With Murray in-form, its really hard to say who will make the semis of World Tour Finals.
Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Wawrinka, Cilic, Nishikori, Murray (if he makes it) is an absolute lottery.
You could put any 4 of those guys in the semis and it would look realistic.
I cannot recall a more wide-open World Tour Finals.
