I must admit, Federer has caused Nadal some problems over the years.

Yeah, who'd a thunk it. I mean, Federer? Who's he when he's at home?

Don't take the bait. You of all people know that Federer has caused Rafa no problems the last 5 years. Don't allow the puppet to start pulling other people's strings.

I know, but it's funny, isn't it? As if, even Federer!

By the way, he's caused him trouble at the WTF! And beat Rafa at IW last year...

grigor dimitrov was unlucky getting a recently top12 guy like kia-ora nikishori,

but even so.. losing in straights is not going to make the partridges of cornwall flock around the nearest telly and cheer for him..

I don't think he can complain about drawing Kei. It could be a lot worse. Just another disappointing loss in another disappointing season for Grigor. Too bad, he has such a nice game to watch :cry

IW doesn't matter but YEC does though it isn't a slam. But at slams Rafa is probably grateful anytime he is facing Roger in semis or final the last 5 years.

Exactly, that's my point. Federer has always been a difficult matchup for Nadal, even when Federer was 30+years-old. So no surprise baby-Federer is causing Nadal problems too.

I think you meant the exact opposite, Rafa vs Roger H2H 22-10 or something like that

2008-2013 is five years on its own but 6 seasons is your point...so be it.

Tough to say anyone is a tough matchup when they are 10-21 against that player, including 4-13 since start of 2008 and 0-5 at slams with at most 2 being tough matches. I mean it is just common sense.

Pospisil d. Gasquet today 3,4 and Paire d. Simon 4,3...both messing up my draw challenge. Melzer, Robredo Seppi, Kohlscreiber and Fognini also through to the next round.

Some matches up tomorrow:

Del Potro v. Kohlscreiber
Djokovic v. Granollers
Federer v. Seppi
Nadal v. Dogopolov
Ferrer v. Rosol.......those are the top guys.

A few others of interest:

Wawrinka v. Anderson (big hitters)
Verdasco v. Raonic (IF Verdasco is on)
Brands v. Haas (battle of the Germans)

I think Delpo has the toughest 2nd round of all the top guys, and Rosol could be a handful for Ferrer.

Things are opening up for Roger. With both Lletyon and Gasquet out, he should at least
make it to QF. Let us see, how it goes.

I agree that DelPo has the toughest customer to take care of in Kohli.

I doubt Juan Martin would lose, but it could either be a long 3 or 4.

What do you mean? These are all best of 3 set matches.
How can it go to 4 sets? You should get treatment from Spanish
mental health doctors, who are incredible.:D

Oh, yes...oops! Perhaps I need a session in an oxygen egg. I'm sure I meant a long 2 or difficult 3. Multi-tasking is a beach. (Except without the umbrellas, sun, or fun.):cover

Ok, it may not go to a 4th, but Del Potro and Kohly are all tied at 5-5 in the 3rd, so I was right about that.

EDIT: And the Argentine pulls it off in the tie-breaker.
