I've only watched a bit here and there but Mayer is playing great, making all of his shots. Federer is playing OK - not quite Shankerer, but he's in that neutral zone where a good player playing his best (like Mayer) or an excellent player playing decently enough will beat him.

Leo is bringing it and Fed is a little edgy and not anywhere near his best.

Must be galling for him to travel all the way there and lose... (if he does). But then he can afford it!

He hasn't lost yet - they're still all tied up.

I haven't seen Roger this visibly emotional since last year. Not-so Jolly Roger.

Time for him to put this to bed. Why is he so ticked off? I'm not watching.

Wow, Mayer is playing great. Roger looked like he was going to break him there but he just couldn't do it.

Entering sudden death for the Fedster. Must hold or go home.

He's not hitting his strokes quite right. His serve has improved a lot in the 3rd set, but this guy ain't going away. I'll have no complaints either way

I don't know why he's so pissed off. There was one call, a lob that Mayer made that looked really close and Roger hit out, but then complained that it was out, and the magic eye revealed that it was.

He just looks rusty, like he hasn't played in weeks - and he hasn't. He really could have used a R64 "warm-up" against a crappy opponent.

Mayer happens to be playing great - almost like vintage Federer with all of these great shots.

Match point for Mayer.

It must be the "Rafa lost today, so now should I" effect.
