What a game by Stan! He proved that real men don't blink.

p.s. Xisca in stands is beautiful, but does not help.

People are also starting to figure out that you need to attack Nadal's forehand. Novak started it.

No, that's something Davydenko (most memorably) figured out.

Nadal is very animated for his doing.

Translation please...

He is showing frustration, pumping himself up at weird moments, replying shots when he misses. A lot of body language other than the usual focus stuff.

Puppet Master, I accept now that your prediction was correct, but i never give up on Rafa in a match until they shake hands at the end...

Yeah, I noticed that, the air shots after the point. Very unlike him...

I mean he hasn't graduated to the physical self-flagellation of Murray, but he's talking to himself as much.

Really, if Stan wins this match, he won it with the swashbuckling in the tiebreak. Never saw Rafa lose one from 6-2 up, but what could he do? Stan was like Sampras, winning points with so much authority, crowding the net with certainty. It was brilliant, even from a Rafa fan perspective. It was tennis at its best...

That, and not letting up in the second set after winning the tiebreak. Wawrinka hasn't allow his level to drop.

I just don't think Stan will have anything left for Fed after having to redline like this tonight.

Top stuff from Stan. Rafa's dejection continues, his form missing. But Stan actually looks like a contender for the title now. If only he can ignore Mirka! ;)
