Disagree really Darth. Not a bad set from Fed. Djoker played the big points well at 4-4 and that last game from Djokovic... well he earned it.

That return on the penultimate pt was a beauty.

Yes, Roger does not like those Novak returns. Reminiscent of match point 2011 USO semis.

He can't beat Djokovic when his return and forehand are terrible.

Didn't watch much of the tennis all week but seems Roger's forehand is far inferior to his backhand all week. Practicing his BH so much for clay season he's probably neglecting the forehand somewhat.

You need more than just a great serve to beat Novak on any surface especially a slow one. Aside from that Roger is looking lost out there.

I too strongly disagree with DF. Novak climbed back from 0-30 hole in the 9th game with two aces in a row. Also, nothing can be done about the Novak return in the penultimate pt in the 10th game.

Rog playing well, but could not get it done.

Novak is serving really well too. Like I said, a bit of a serve fest.

Peter Fleming just said even at 33 Roger appears to not have lost any pace on the court. :cover

Fine to disagree, but if this is Roger returning well and hitting well from the baseline we are in a lot of trouble :). He's serving great and against anyone else he'd have held that game Djokovic broke. But not aggressive enough with the forehand and simply not getting many returns in play.

That was a sweet backhand by Federer.

Merci Roger.

2 - 0 up in the second.

Wasn't it like this at IW too?
