Hope Caroline does it better this time:)
Well, she should at least be able to win her first round match Jovanovski. One of our Caro friends says that Jovanovski is on an eight match losing streak. Not that Caro is doing much better with a 1- 4 record for her last five matches.
She always bounces back with a strong showing after an early exit.

Not this time Kiu. She's out in the 1st round again. Lost a 3rd set breaker to Jovanaski.

What an amazing tennis match between Bojana Jovanovski against Carolina Wozniacki and what a great performance Bojana made. Down and out several times but she fought her way back in and finally stood there as the winner in the end 26, 64, 76. The TV commentator said several times that Caroline would take it and his money was on her but in the end he too had to surrender.
What a fighter!!! What a match!!!!

I'm glad you saw the match because it's one of the best clay matches I've seen this year, and unfortunately with the wrong winner (I thinK). It's sad to see her lose again in a first round, but this time I saw the fighting spirit coming back. Caroline is playing well right now she's just a bit unlucky meeting good players in first round AGAIN. She had no luck on her side today too. Jovanovski played her best today so congrats to her, hope she's not lost too much power today in this marathon. All in all I think Carolines gameplay is about right for FO - so heads up Caroline fans she'll have a good FO

It might be we're just watching "Jankovic: Part Duex" with Caroline.

I'll have to catch a replay, although I'm sorry Caroline lost. Based on the score and your post, it must have been exciting. There's nothing like a third set tiebreak to get things heated up.

Well, I can't share the enthusiasm of our friends for Caro's performance here. Jovanovski was before this match on an eight match losing streak (didn't win a single match since the AO) and she's by no means a claycourt specialist. On top of that she got injured at the start of the third set. The poor girl could hardly move or serve. But nevertheless Caro kept feeding her weak-ish shots to the middle of the court and Jovanovski was able to make up a 0-4 deficit. Kudos to Jovanovski for her fight, but I'm sorry - this is a match that the Caro of old never would have lost.

Well, she needs to do something. What that something is, I don't know. But she can't continue like this, that's for sure.

Serena better come focused! I know she usually has trouble with lefties, and Robson has a penchant for top player scalps! Don't let yourself be on that list Serena!

And another top 10 player surprisingly bites the dust. S. Halep defeats A. Radwanska 67, 61, 62
Another surprise
U. Radwanska defeats A. Ivanovic 63, 26, 62

The Petra vs Sabine score is just hilarious. Two talented mental midgets battling on the court. I could not see it, but coud easily imagine the collapses and great shot-making. Sabine is hopeless, but I am still hopeful that Petra can get herself together and take her place among the top 4.

The Ana upset is a surprise. Very unfortunate.

Go, Sloane! She does not have the mental fortitude to get to the top of the sport, but I like her nonetheless.

Only one WTA match left. 4 seeds are out today - I hope Serena will survive else it's 5

10 Caroline Wozniacki
11 Nadia Petrova
15 Ana Ivanovic - continues her roller coaster form.

AND

4 A. Radwanska - well no surprise to me as Halep has been playing well the last year. It was a clear victory 67 61 62 apart from 1st set. Aga in a slump too?

Match results from today - see page 1.

To those of you who didn't watch the Wozniacki match here it is :)

Well, I think it's a bit too soon to come to that conclusion already. ;)

VERY disappointed in her.

I didn't see the match, but the scoreline is atrocious.
