Sinner has a tough 1st match against the Swiss player Huesler, it will not surprise me if he loses
I think Matteo and him should now go into rebab together, get their injuries healed, get into the gym and have a good off season training

I’m in Europe all November now if I can only convince my wife we have to visit Paris this coming week. Or maybe I should start a Go Fund Me and you folks can sponsor me as a tennis frontier journalist at Bercy, that would work, no ? ;)
The Tennis Frontier private jet is on its way …

Jannik my worst nightmare has come true so far, I thought you might struggle in this match against the Swiss Q Huesler, losing the 1st set 62. Jannik has come out playing very flat, Huseler serve has been impressive so far

Shame, Shame, Shame,

The 2 Mourataglou Academy Associate's The Brat aka Rune and The Young Greek have withdrawn from their doubles match today
( It was a meaningless doubles match to start with, as The Brat had to race from Basel after playing the final, to Paris lol )

"Spindle Legs" already down a set & break in Paris! Who TF's Husler of Switz.? Maybe Sinner should go to the NG ATP Final instead of YEC w/ the big boys next month! I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few upsets before all's said & done in Bercy! Sinner's done & out! :astonished-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:

Jannik wake up down a break in the 2nd set, Huesler has been playing well of late, unless you can break back Now this match will be over....
I wish Jannik finished his season and did not play Paris, his ankle is still not 100%,

Well done to the Swiss Q Huesler who has been playing well of late defeated Jannik in SS 62 63!

Jannik go and heal that ankle and have a good pre season training for 2023

At least my other Italian youngster Musetti defeated Cilic 64 64

Gilles Simon v Andy Murray about to start shortly....this could be Simon's last match before he retires from tennis

BTW Rumors that Alcaraz could be in doubt to play, had some tests earlier today because of knee pain, so far he is still in the draw.

I like the ATP No 1 Trophy, a big glass globe, given to Alcaraz in a brief ceremony

Wow if true this could be a huge thing for the YE#1 with Nadal becoming the favorite to clinch it... Of course I'm not wishing Alcaraz to withdraw I wouldn't want it to happen that way...

But Nadal technically would have secured the YE#1 a long time ago if it weren't for his own injuries throughout this year missing part of the clay season after the Indian Wells rib stress fracture injury, then missing Canada and barely playing before the USO after the abs tear that forced him to withdraw from the WB SF, and basically having to miss tournaments and start over many times...

I really believe he deserves to get that YE#1 (especially with those 2 slam titles), but I guess we will see what happens.

As I said it was only a rumor, to date he is still in the draw and he received his trophy for being the No 1 player not soo long ago in a brief ceremony...Alcaraz complained of knee pain when he was playing at Basel indoor tournament, so I think the tests he had earlier today were just a precaution.

Let's everyone feel sorry for Rafa! He just doesn't know what will become of himself if he doesn't hang out on the tour until he drops dead!

Allez Simon who is not going out without a fight breaks Murray serving for the match 5-3
Simon consolidates his break and it is 5 all in the 2nd set. Murray won the 1st set 64

Moxie I dont know about your predication about Muzz winning this match he got broken serving for the 2nd set, could not find his serve and lost the plot, Simon wins it 75
Murray 1st set 64

I picked Murray, though my draw was a mess when I forgot to go back on after Tented said Coric was having shoulder issues. Then you said KK was moved. And now Simon has the break in the 3rd! But he was up a break in the 2nd, IIRC.
