The rain has already put a wrench into the works, but there are a lot of interesting matches tomorrow on the men's side:

Rosol v. Wawrinka: Stan took care of Lukas just a few days ago, but I think it went 3. Not an easy start for the defending champion.

Stepanek v. Murray: Andy should be fine, but I doubt he'll like playing the tricky old veteran. Drop a set? Probably not. But crab about it along the way, likely yes.

Bellucci v. Gasquet: I think this one could go long.

Chardy v. L. Mayer: The unpredictable Jeremy v. the very competent clay man. The French crowd should help.

Bennateau v. Pouille: Vielle garde v. nouvelle garde?

Sock v. Haase: 1 set to play.

Not the greatest start weather-wise, but hopefully it will improve. Good thing that they start RG on Sundays so there is a bit of leeway there. But rain needs to stay away for everything to go according to plan. Some of the courts have 5 matches scheduled on, let's see what happens tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

The forecast I'm looking at looks pretty dreary until mid-late afternoon. Let's see what they manage to get done.

It's good that I didn't go to Paris. We have been enjoying the same sort of weather here,

Still a whole lot of tennis not happening at Roland Garros. Back to bed. Someone wake me up when the French Open starts. :sleep2:

Rain seems to have subsided for now.

Stan's out there with Rosol.

The crowd is a bit sparse... they could have travelled together by skateboard.

Rosol just won't go away. I am switching between that match and Milos vs Janko, where Milos is in total control in the 3rd set.

This would be unreal. I know Stan has mostly stunk this year but this would be an absolutely terrible loss. I think he lost in the 1st round of the 2014 RG (after winning the AO that year) but that was to GGL who was at least a pretty decent clay court player.

They just played a couple of days ago and it was a tight 3-setter for Wawrinka. This is the danger of playing a week before RG, especially when you go all the way in the previous week. Not enough time to adjust. Rosol is a strange player. He can look really good or really bad. Depends on his inspiration, I guess.

Yeah, Rosol is a real hot and cold player and that's just within a single match. Looks like he's going to take this third set.

If Stan's going to progress then he's going 5.
