Oh cmon, you know what time it is. It's called mind games and they all do it. From mass ball bouncing, taking too much time, fist pumps, shouting cmon, allez, etc., loud grunting, picking shorts, cleaning lines constantly, bathroom breaks, playing possum, unexplained MTOs and the like to gain any kind of advantage and play the game at their pace. Even your beloved, so get over it and try again please.

LOL....I could add a few more,K you covered most of it.

OK Matteo. So the goal is not to drop serve at the first or second time of asking.

Novak will make this, Berrettini has too many weaknesses.
But Novak lacks enough aggressiveness, constance in serving and attacking to threaten Nadal.

Agreed. There should be a poll on how many games Djokovic will win against Nadal. 13 is the score to beat set by Schwartzman today, which was good considering the bagel 4th set. Last year Djokovic got 7 games so that's his target to beat. :popcorn

Honestly this is the best Novak has played on clay in years, that's how I see it. It doesn't mean he won't be beaten by Nadal, but I expect tougher match than last time. Remember he was mentally spent after that USO, he came here this year with normal schedule building up his clay game.

Musetti played unreal in the first sets but Djokovic going 5 sets with him wasn't expected so not so sure myself. That match can't gauge anything given Musetti was unable to play at all after set 2. I'll be shocked if he doesn't win more than 7 games like last year but I'm honestly thinking he still won't win a set against Nadal. Crunch time at 3-3, 4-4 or 5-5 in a set he just breaks your will and serve and wins the set and then most players mentally clock out like Schartzman did today. Full credit to Schwartzman for not crumbling after dropping set 1 today and winning set 2 but he knew when he lost that game at 4-4 in set 3 today which most could see coming that his chance had ended. That's why I predicted anything from a bagel to 6-2 at best in set 4.

I can see Nadal winning maybe 6-4 6-3 6-2 or 7-5 6-3 6-2 against Djokovic, that's either 9 or 10 games won by Djokovic. Just can't see him winning a set. I know he won a set 6-1 in Rome but this is different. Very much hope to be proven wrong though. Score to beat is Schwartzman's 13 games so far this tournament.

Will it be a day or night match ? Day match in the sun will make Nadal's loopy top spin bounce much higher, whereas it's way harder to hit through the court at night. Either is a very tough ask for Djokovic and I'd expect the slower play to suit Nadal more even if his top spin is neutralized somewhat 'cos rallying all day is his bread and butter. Djokovic won't be able to hit as many winners at night, will get fed up and the frustration will result in tons of failed drop shots like last year is my guess. I hope he learnt his lesson 'cos those DID NOT work last year but he kept on doing them.

All respect to Diego today for stealing another set off Rafa in RG, it's a big achievement considering Rafa's dominance on PC.

Part of Diego winning a set today was not that great play by Rafa, but that can be said for Novak as well against Musetti. But both opponents were hot and seized the opportunities.

When Novak and Rafa step on court on friday it will be a Rafa from set 4 today that is for sure, but I also hope that Novak will not disapoint either and if they start with cat and mouse play all over the court I do believe in a close match, possibly even an upset, that was my pick anyway before the tournament. But it is a big ask to dethrone a king knowing you have to be 100 % freaking focused for 4 hours with almost no room for error. I just also hope Novak plays agressive on a certain points when it gets tight because he tends to go too passive and loses the edge there which at the end cost him the match.

I have no idea what time of day the match will be played but I gues day time, first SF. Judging from this year, hot conditions and balls I'd guess that might benefit Novak a bit, but again we said last year that cold will benefit him so who knows.

All I know is that those dropshots were terrible and he won't do the same mistake again. In Rome his dropshots worked well against Rafa, but again he did not overdo it.
