Don't overthink it. Just schedule a top ranked doubs or French doubs match after a single women's match. Problem solved.

I thought of that actually but IMO the organizers want to highlight singles matches so I was trying to work within that parameter.

My draw fell apart today, as I had Paolini to win RG. Also had Rybakina over Iga. I have Coco to reach final and Zheng over Saba, but I'm not sure any of those remaining choices will happen.

Jazz was one of my favs to win also, she choked, sad to say, I still have Saba, Coco and Zheng in, though Iga has had a draw from hell, she is still standing

Saba wins the 1st set against Anisimova 7-5 I knew this would be a test for Saba, Amanda is a great striker of the ball, plays aggressive tennis
Saba through 75 63.
Saba will face Zheng next, Zheng recently beat her in a QF match in Rome, though Saba still has a winning H2H over Zheng 6-1

That's what I meant about staying focused. I've seen it from her far too often.

Iga wins in 3. Rybakina is just too vanilla compared to her opponent. Numerous opportunities in 2nd and 3rd set, all tossed in the wind and then you lose.

Had to run to church. But you're right she is very vanilla. Hasn't really showed any onions since the 23 AO final.

Me too. She is looking pretty good and determined to go deep, maybe even win RG. I don't like that Iga is still lurking around, but I blame Elena for that. She only lost 2 matches in RG her whole career, that's a very high percentage of wins.

I think Saba will get Iga tomorrow. Her 2nd serve is very vulnerable and Saba is amped up after Maddy stole that 3peat in Auz. She will be hard to beat in the SF, but I'm convinced the final will be 1 vs 2 as it should be.
