I honestly don't know how Novak plans to handle this guy on Friday, but he can try and he will, probably just to find out that he is slowly becoming an obsolete model.
Novak’s a different level. He’ll know when to let out it go, and when to grind it out. He’s top level when it comes to holding his nerve, and he’ll serve so much better, knowing that he’ll have to.

The question really should be reversed because Carlos is the one heading into hostile, new territory..

The question is rather if Djokovic will even show up for the semifinal, or if he will withdraw prior to it with an “injury”.

This is not the Novak of thirteen or so years ago. There will be no withdrawal. He wants to put Carlitos down to show he is still the one to beat on the big stage. He will come prepared for war, and he has been tested many times by Federer and Nadal--and he has often come out on top.

That’s it, and he’s got an opportunity to make history twice at this event, so he’ll cheat, steal and borrow to get himself over the line…

Rumor has it that Djokovic fractured his wrist in his match against Kachanov, meaning that he could retire before Nadal.

Really? I hope it’s not true but if he shows up with a bandaged wrist to play, I’ll suspect it’s a ploy. I didn’t see any moment in that match where he pulled up with a sore wrist, but then I did switch it off to watch a chop socky..

I am almost sure about that. Twitter hasn’t confirmed it though!!

Novak is going to make it competitive, no doubt. I hope for a close 4 setter, possibly 5, but when it comes to crucial moments I believe Alcaraz quality will prevail.

I don't think Carlos cares much about what's on the line, he is just playing his tennis, he knows what he can do, but some nerves can always come if the opponent push him.
