This match is only on Peacock streaming in the US, no national TV :face-with-tears-of-joy:
Our great channel nine who owns the rights in Aussie cuts their live coverage at 3.30am our time so I have to go and gets streams for both the mens and womens matches which usually goes for hours after our time at 3.30am

Frances plays some gutsy tennis. 6-5...now Sasha has to hold. He's got a high DF count.

Lots of great tennis from Frances. I like Zverev for the SFs.

At least my Cerundolo is playing well, I did pick him as 'dangerous' he was a bit tight in the 1st set against Fritz, though when he started yo play loose that FH was a missile, inside out, down the line he can put it anywhere on the court, he does has to watch his 2nd serve, it is attackable., has good hands at the net.

Yes with a little help from his father, his burst of energy after that potty break is highly suspicious.
I didn't notice him playing especially better at any point in the match. Overly suspicious, IMO.

So, what shenanigans tomorrow?

Djokovic v. Varillas...lamb to the slaughter?
Alcaraz v. Musetti...match of the day?
Khachanov v. Sonego...ball-basher stopped by clay-courter?
Tsitsipas v. Ofner...upset of the day? (Nah, probably not.)

As Rafa fans we have to get on board with Varilles he is a huge Rafa fan and Rafa told him to keep practicing, he was going to give up tennis and go back to Uni Vamos Varillas :)
I believe Sonego will save tennis over the BB
Vamos Alcaraz my tip to win the title
Stef? I havent been giving him much attention after his Papa and Mama with their carry on in Roma

By "Lamb to the slaughter," I meant Novak. :face-with-tears-of-joy: OK, kidding, but I'll back Rafa's man.

If Silent K makes the next round, what the hell kind of clay tennis is this? Forza, Lorenzo!

And mine.
Stef? I havent been giving him much attention after his Papa and Mama with their carry on in Roma
He should have been facing Felix, or at least a tricky Fognini. Instead, he gets Ofner.

Felix is sunning himself in MC and trying to get over his gastric upset and shoulder problem, Stef gets someone I have never heard of lol!

How does the guy who is facing Djokovic play? Does he have weapons to hurt him? Can he save tennis and humanity? :thinking-face:
All I know he is a big fan of Rafa, apparently he was going to quit tennis and go back to Uni, until he met Rafa one day in the locker room and Rafa told him to get practicing hard,

A bit more info on Varillis from Peru, he came through qualifying in Buenos Aires in February and took down former No 3Thiem and 3rd seed Musetti back to back to reach his first ATP SF when he fell to Cameron Norrie
He is the first Peruvian to reach the 4th round at RG in 29 years!
