Sara beats Glushko 6-1 6-0
JJ beats Sorana 6-1 6-2
Simona wins 6-3 6-0

I think any of the above or Sveta can end up in the semis, they are all on a roll.

Just like the top of the draw, there is only two single digit seeds left, #4 Simona and #6 JJ!
Everyone else is either double digit seeds or unseeded.

^ Did she learn that celebration from Youzhny? She told a hilarious story in the after interview of having a conversation with her backhand to get it working again. She's funny. I like her.

After a flurry of breaks in the deciding set, Petko executes the final break to secure the match 6-4.

told ya. ended on another Petra error. Some brave fight from Sveta. Like I said, a remarkable athlete.
I had Sveta to win this match, has a good history at RG, true kskate2, a fine athlete. Just as a sidebar, the LTA had screwed up by accreditation for Eastbourne, had to re-apply yesterday, could not be found, because I usually have my approval long before now. New chap in London says all is in order now and I should get it in a few days. I leave for the UK in 13 days!

Late to the party, but I missed Ivanovic's match this morning, and there isn't a great lot of commentary here. What happened? I thought she would have been a contender. Too bad…I've been admiring her come-back.

I liked this quote from Sveta after her win against Petra....which came from SI.Com

"I really feel almost like Rafa out there" Kuznetsova said, referring to Raphael Nadal.
"The difference is I cannot make winners from that far behind,so I have to go inside a little bit".

I have always said Sveta is one of the purest athletes on the tour, she showed this today in her win against Petra.
