This is where things get fun. Sam and Maria should be interesting if Sam keeps her level as high as she has. Her original breakthrough came on clay and she's been peaking this month. That being said, it's Sam so who knows.

Mugu v. Kerber... Im hoping for Mugu but I'm expecting Kerber. Her confidence seems like its returned.

I'm hoping CSV continues her march here. She's had a really great season so far. She's 2015's Halep.

I actually am rooting for Stosur. I would like to see Sam gain form and confidence again. She is a fun one to add to the mix for a dark horse at these events.

Me too. Her kick serve is almost unique among WTA players. If only she had some more grey matter............

Even that Kerber is a tough opponent I hope Garbine plays well and consistent and then she will win the match

What do you mean even that Kerber, condescending? She actually won two clay tourneys this year.

Do you mean she could win this one too?

No, I won't go that far. She is not ready to win a major yet. But, she deserves respect.

I definitely think she deserves respect for turning things around. She was sinking pretty fast and let a string of good matches bring up her confidence and level of play. I wish more players let that kind of confidence boost lift their game back up.

The feel-good story of Lucic-Baroni comes to an end. She's ousted in 3 tight sets by Cornet. :wave

Hey, with all my respect , maybe Garbine is not ready to win a major yet either but if she plays well she would have the chance to beat Kerber like she did last year to Serena. She is still too young but she is strong, great serve, good shots but she needs to be more consistent, that's all

Lucie into the 4th R to match her career best here at RG - she'll be playing either Sharapova or Stosur.

One career win over Maria, and it was on clay a couple of years ago. I would love to see her go another round or two, even though she has not had the best season on clay.

Got to meet Lucie at Indian Wells this year - sweetheart, was very generous with her time, and she was a true pleasure to talk to.[/php]

Only thing worse than watching maria play is listening to her on the radio... All you get is the screech.

Stosur as always bows down to pova...if she was playing Serena she would be playing lights out tennis...same with Muguruza.

No excitement in this match. Hardly any rallies and more points being decided by errors.
