Looking forward to Daria vs Lisicki. Lisicki can make a match of this if she keeps the ball on court, but I doubt it. I want Daria to crack top twenty soon. She is fun to watch.

Finally R2. Those first 3 days of the R1 always feel so long.

I'm betting it will look a lot like last year. Stosur comes out blazing, even taking a set and a break before she realizes what she's doing and chokes the advantage to allow Maria to play better and turn the match.

Holy Cabooses! What is going on with Halep? She's down a set and trailing 0-3 in the second! :eyepop :cover

Make that 5-0 now. She is folding, just like Genie did yesterday.

Simona crashes out. Was seriously expecting a good deal more from her at this event.

Probably Maka. She'll find her way into the 2nd week of a slam again.

WTF Halep? I hope this isn't the beginning of a fast fall for her. She's better than this.

The girl only hit 5 winners to Lucic's 29. She's not going to win an exho playing like that.

World #165 Donna Vekic making some noise. Is she finally ready to deliver on the long rumored potential?

My prediction for winner of RG is gone down the drain in the form of Simona. But, Lucic really took her to woodshed. Time for Simona to get to the gym and add some power to her game.

Daria gone by way of retirement? What happened? I was hoping she would do well here.

halep is totally overhyped. the beginning of the end.

Today she was completely outplayed. But, it surely is not the beginning of the end.
After all, she just had beginning of beginning with a good year last year. End cannot be
so soon. She will learn and redeem herself.

Federer criticized the tournament director and was thrown on Lenglen...too much blatant favoritism on court assignments and scheduling.

I just do not know why some of you all think she was going to win this tournament. She is not grand slam material neither is Genie.
