Does anyone know anything about the style of play of Dzumhur, Fed's next opponent.
I have never heard of this guy.

Just broke into the top 100 recently, ranked 88. The fact that he is in R3 is already his best results ever in a slam, he is 23y old.

DANGER ZONE! The kid has nothing to lose obviously, the surface is clay, and our GOAT friend here is getting a little "long in the tooth!" :nono  :dodgy:

Roger doesn't get upset by kids like Dzumhur, that's Rafa's gig. Roger gets upset by older players hungry to take down the guy that's plagued them for years on end, like Seppi or Stakhovsky or Robredo.

Schwartzman has become a favorite of mine. I hope he plays well tomorrow.

I know it was "close but no cigar", but he almost pulled off the upset

Dang it. There goes my Darkhorse. Who's the shmoo that convinced me to pick F3 for my darkhorse? :snicker

Oh Jax...you know it's folly to pick F3. He shows up when he's feeling it...if he's not feeling like tennis that day...won't happen:s

Disaster for my guys today:cry

At least Dutzee took a set off Stan and tried hard, F3....just pathetic, Paire is another one of hot headed tennis players but even he was composed enough to beat F3 in straight sets.:puzzled

Yikes Gulbis will drop down in the rankings big time...and hot sauce??? Wow...:nono

gael monf played a classic 'gael' match..occasional unbelievable defense, angled winners from nowhere, brain fades/unexpected collapses that 'really' we did expect, French crowd alternating between raucous bellowing and stunned silence.

thinking ahead to potential Federer clash 4th rd..gael has played 9sets, Federer 6sets so far. so gaels dodgy fitness in long matches could be factor because a) he's farting about in dogfights while fed sails through..and b) his core fitness is a bit sh1te.

i'd agree, except that Stakhovsky actually hadn't ever played Fed before his upset win.

I can't say I feel that confident about that forehand at the moment. It seems to lack bite in my view. I hope he picks it up in the next round. I just don't think that his form will cut it against Gael. He needs a bit more zip on it to get out of Gael's range. I am not optimistic.

The frustrating thing is I wouldn't mind so much if Le Monf would go on and win the whole thing! I can honestly say that if Gael won RG 2015 I would be happier about that, than any other result, but I can't trust the dude :nono
