Poor Caroline…I hope things look up for her soon. Sorry that these are tough times for your girl, hoergren.

^Just watching her presser and it is hard not to feel sorry for the girl.

If you keep telling yourself you are bad at something even though you are not, eventually it sticks with you and become true. Li Na always claims she's bad on clay even though she has won it before.

Sort of expected Carolines exit today so no surprise there. Her gameplay was not on top and of course that influenced too. SO ready for another type of court the grass court. She didn't seem to have any problems with her knee so I expect her to take part in the grass tournaments. She earned 10 points because she played and had got a zero if she had withdrawn - 10 points is 10 points. Now I'll follow some other players like Aga and Genie.

What is her next scheduled tournament?

Eastbourne to the best of my knowledge and then Wimbledon.

Thanks, Hoergren. :)

Hopefully she'll be more mentally prepared by then. She has a lot on her mind, obviously, right now, and is probably too distracted to play well.

My heart bleeds for Woz, but this is what I had expected. Let's hope that there aren't any golf fans that go mock her on her twitter like they did after Rory's win. People can be such vile creatures.

^ Errani's movement looked good to me....hopefully that hip injury she sustained in Rome has healed.

Just read Li Na's pressor after she lost her match against Mladenovic

This part really stood out to me...........

"The problem is myself" Li said."I dont think I'm doing well on the court. And also, even during the match,I dont think totally (about) what I should do,like especially I didnt follow the game plan.In my mind,I didnt have any idea how to play the match".

Maddie has really exploded in the 3rd set.

Errani d Keys 75 36 61

I missed the 3rd. Sorry it went so poorly for Keys, but I'm with you in hoping that Errani is healthy. I like to see her do well.

To be honest, outside of Serena and Maria, I am not surprised any of the top ten lose in first round of slams. They're all inconsistent, whereas Serena and Maria are reliable to get to the second week.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands beat Li Na in the second round last year. Li had a golden chance to gain some points, instead she lost in the first round.

Na did to WTA draw what Stan did to ATP, busting a quarter wide open...
