It was a clean win. Kei had some jitters finishing it up, but it was understandable considering this is his first ever win over Rafa. :clap

There was no doubt from the beginning as to who will win the match.

Way to go Nishikori!

Still strange to watch a match where it is clear that Nadal is the clear underdog.

Hope the Youz can take out Nadal.

That is not going to happen. Mad doctor has defeated Rafa in his hay days on hard courts. But, now he is almost retired. Surprisingly he won a couple of matches in this tourney.

On the positive side, you don't have to wait for long. Samurai will do it in QF.

Good call GSM.

I will be there too.

BTW, Samurai has now beaten Fedal. Has he ever beaten Murray or Novak.

I can look it up, but I thought you might know off the top of your head.

Novak has won the first set and is playing TB in the second set in the doubles against elder Murray.

But, they had the sense to postpone the Rafa doubles against BB

Tsonga is the only player (I believe) to beat all of the big four in slams, Berdych has also beaten all of them at some point along with Stan, Del Potro, can't think of any others off the top of my head - what about Raonic, has he beat Novak?

Novak lose the 2nd set tie breaker, but wins the super tie breaker and the match aginst Murray.
Now he is on to SF in both singles and doubles.

With such a good game, I wonder why Tsonga does not have better results.
I think he probably had some injuries which hampered him earlier this year.

Good game, but not a great thinker on the court.

Neither do I! Both could be doing so much more! This defensive, counter-punching crap is so annoying! Both will break down before their time; IDIOTS! :cover :nono :dodgy: :eyepop
