I have met Vika at a Sydney tournament just before she won her 1st GS title at the AO, she is really cool, though it is best to meet her before a tournament starts, she keeps her answers short and to the point once a tournament starts

Even if Vee does intend to retire this year, we won't know about it. She keeps things very close to her vest. And doesn't really care for a bunch of fanfare.

True she was asked if she will play doubles again, she said after playing with Serena she said No

What a win from Jen! I know Osta is seething beneath the surface, but her game is so volatile. I don't think lightening will strike twice for her. She will be another Myskina (one slam wonder).
