Tennis is about trophies not about weeks at no.1. Someone could have tons of quarters, semis and finals with zero titles but enough points to be no.1. It would still be disappointing. At the end of the day it's about the trophies.

Denis plays a high risk game. It's flashy which some find attractive but not myself. Tennis is a game about a combination of being consistent and providing the opportunity to execute a good high percentage strategy. Denis is who he is just like Madison Keys is who she is.

Honestly, he hasn't been right since he dropped out of SW19. I wonder if this Covid diagnosis is lingering. He was far from perfect at the 250 he played and then withdrew from Umag after losing in the final to Casper

Maybe I was too harsh on Matteo he did have COVID, though he had 30 UFE in 2 sets of tennis against PCB
