This is the perfect position for Serena to be in leading into the US Open: the opportunity to win a non-major title. If she wins this, she’ll have a better chance in New York. I think the pressure of trying to make winning a historic major her next tournament win has been too much.

I have watched her many times this year. She exaggerates injuries, calls for trainers unnecessarily, holds/stretches various body parts after lost points and then runs like a gazelle and wins a point and all is well...Everything I personally dislike in a player basically. Think early Murray.
