I like Fernando, but usually after a good win, hi homes up lame and loses an easier match.
On another note, Nadal goat just got burned in his faith for Thiem.
Thiem last year lost only to Nadal, Djokovic and Goffin on clay, this is his worth loss on clay in almost 2 years.
Thiem is like any number of players that people seem to want to invest in as the future. He's plenty good, and so is Zverev. And Shapo. And Kyrgios. But if we're looking for the next Federer/Nadal/Djokovic, I think we're going to wait some time.

F3 wins in three. Controversial non-call by the chair when F3 was down break point at 5-1. Too tired to explain. Google it.

SF:
Schwartzman/Jarry
Fognini/Verdasco

Even as a Fognini fan, my opinion is that he should have conceded that controversial serve.

What's your excuse? Thiem won his first match 6-2,-7-5 and his second match 4-2 (retired).

I did say it looked like thiem was not 100% did not say he was for sure, also just won a event could have just been tired. Thiem will come back strong than ever at India wells.

Not sure why you feel that you have to make so much book on Thiem. He's fine, but he's certainly never going to be a world-beater.

100% to 70% is a big drop.

Logic doesn’t apply to Fog. He can play amazing tennis or lose to anyone. All depends on his mental state which he has no control over.
