Even though I picked Tamara to win,I would happy for Pavs to get to her first ever GS final she was a child tennis prodigy, too much pressure put on her at a early age.,she has felt the pressure over the years,I am happy she has finally broken through at Roland Garros.

I'm very happy for Pavs. :cheerleader:She's my sentimental pick to win this tournament. She will have a tough match against either the Goddess or the Czech, although I'm leaning toward the Greek to come through.

Remember Chekvadtaze? She was a Russian child prodigy too and it didn't turn out as well for her :nono:

Must be something in the water for the Russians, they have produced some wonderful players, that showed great potential and never really went on with it....Safina was another one,she made me turn to drink,I still remember that final at RG against Sveta, that was a complete choke from Safina.
