"Barring no setbacks in the next couple of days I will be making an appearance at the club of the queen next week" - Andy Murray on Twitter (can't provide link b/c i can't access twitter from this pc).

good to hear. some matchplay before Wimby will do him good. i hope he was able to use the time-out not just for recovery, but also for some re-focusing.

in other news: Fish won't make it to Queens, unfortunately, and Brian Baker won't return before July. the big ? of course is JMDP.

My comment about the England crowd was a positive one. Sorry, if I miss word the sentence. I just want them to see Andy win Wimbledon so they can finally enjoy their own moment too.

Murat, I still think it is a little bit more different. If Murray wins Wimbledon, I think they will be happy but at the same time they will have a sigh of relief.

courts will have dried out a bit, hopefully no-one slipping over, its been dry and sunny since about may 30th..

might be cloudier this week though..possible rain late Tuesday, but not much of it, and maybe none at all.

^ yup, always strange to see something like that happening. you might be right in that it's late entries, usually. anyway, with the grass season being so short, i think the match practice might be good for Feliciano (Tommy Haas for example, in his resurgence, denied a couple of WCs to instead go through qualis; turned out pretty well for him).
