I think Simona did the correct thing in withdrawing from the tournament,hope the injury dosent take long to heal.

Well, I think they have to cite some injury to withdraw at the last moment. I doubt that
she is seriously injured. She is just tired and made a tactical decision. I like her decision though.
Smart move.

Sad that the top three are not there, but women's tennis has plenty of great players to make this a very interesting tournament nonetheless. Hope Kvitova can win this week. If not Petra, then Woz!

Vika will be ranked 30 something if she gets to the final or wins Doha. She has no points to defend rest of the year and should rocket up. I hope Wim fixes her serve. She has everything else to get to the top three and win more majors.
