Bad luck for Domi though to me she has been over playing

Yeah bad luck for both Caro and Domi, but I'll rather see them safe and sound in Madrid. Good luck to both ladies. As far as I remember from the rulebook they won't get a zero pointer as they withdraw before their matches and both are replaced by a LL.

In regards to Caroline's wrist? is it sprained or is it a problem with a tendon in the wrist?

I'm also curious. The wrists seem to be featuring these days in knocking some players out. Is it right or left?

From what I just read on another tennis site it is Caroline's left wrist...though there wasn't any further detail than that?

Not much to say about Caroline injury, but it's important for her play that she can use the left arm for her backhand shot. As you can see she showed up for a light training yesterday with her wrist taped up. She only trained for about 10 minutes. According to Danish papers she spoke with some doctors who advised her to give her wrist some rest. She should be in Stuttgart at least for the next couple of days just training with her right arm - then she probably return to Monaco later.

Sara and Carla advanced , Svetlana is ahead a set...

The match I want to follow is Roberta versus Anika. This is clay and indoors but we are in Germany.
Lets see if Roberta can start her clay season on the right track, Anika is hot, she already has wins coming into the match since she went tru qualifying.

Wow, Maria struggled...3 sets. She can't keep this pace the entire tourney. She might get one more win, can't see anything beyond that.

Lucie d/faulted on BP when she was serving for the match....Typical.

If my math is correct Sharapova has to make the s/finals in this tournament to remain in the top 10.Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
