I think really if Thiem wants to make it to the next tier he really needs to work on his court positioning. He leaves himself very susceptible to drop shots and short replies by being so far back.

Exactly. I have been saying this for a while. Interesting that Z and Thiem play dubs together. I think Fed and Nadal would make a good dubs team. The Olympics should revert to the old format which allows players to partner with players from a different country.
