Monfils is waiting to see if Simon can win his semi final match (he lost set #1 but is up a break in set #2 vs Stak) and make it an all French final. Allez Gilles!

I was tired after just watching this match. What a wonderful effort by both players, they really gave their all to win here. I feel for Gael as he is also a showman and a good guy, but congratulations to Simon, he was more patient and steadier of the two. :clap

Well, when I said they had a similar career, I was thinking ranking wise. However, Gilles had twice as many titles, which is telling. Gael cannot cross the finish line in most of the cases, mentally he is not the most reliable.
