Stan is crazy. Still not scheduling like a top player.

He should have taken three weeks of rest and then hit the ciruit only at IW, instead of playing in
Open 13.

Well they sign up for these well in advance, without knowing how well they'll do in their previous tournament. Stan might be still OK to give it a try or he will lose soon and rest then.

I know they sign up in advance. But, he is not a newly minted top 10 player. He
knows he is a top player for more than a year now. He should have planned his schedule
better.

But, I can't be too negative about his schedule without knowing his whole schedule.
He has already played three optional ones (Chennai, Rotterdam and Open 13). He
probably will play in MC, Queens and Basel. That would make it a full schedule.
If he plays more than two tourneys beyond the full schedule, he is definitely foolish.

If you take a look at the number of events played in the last 52 weeks, the highest is 24 for Tomas and David while the least is Novak with 18.
Stan is at 20, which is OK. He did not overplay. Andy, Milos, Kei, Marin plus the two with 24 each all played more than Stan.

It is not just about the number of tournaments. This year Stan has signed up for Geneva
(he is getting some appearance fee). That would make him play for 5 weeks in a row during
the clay season; Madrid, Rome, Geneva, 2 weeks of RG.

Forget about Stan doing well at RG.

That's just stupid. I really hope he withdraws or tanks there, unless he did very badly in Madrid & Rome.

Bad day for Canada as Raonic and Pospisil both go out. Hurts for Raonic to drop a 3rd set TB.
