I hope it is Ana. She has been playing progressively better recently. Hoping she can crack top ten.

Woz should take time away from matches to work on her game with her new coach. Even with Pova playing for the first time in months, I would bet on her beating Woz. Woz needs to show up in Australia fired up, not getting her confidence shaken playing with a power hitter who can blow her off the court.

There is only one player who can blow a Masha in form off court *smiles* - I however agree that Masha should try to build up her confidence by playing against players she normally can defeat with some degree of difficulty

Yeah - My bad - you were referring to C. Wozniacki and not to Masha

Whether you will get anything from it depends what kind of exhibition it is. I presume Sharapova will want some kind of match play so will at least take it semi-serious. You need your opponent to be doing the same for you to get any great benefits from it though.

Note Eugenie Bouchard's comment about how distracting Masha's shrieks were for her - According to young Genie - not at all!! - It adds to the atmosphere and makes the match more intense she said - I'm sure that is what all the young tennis and Masha supporters think as well
