Federer's inconsistent. That's what I feel. He is great for two games and a half and then has no clue how to play the same guy for a whole set next. A backhand pass comes next. And a double fault follows.

Yeah, he's been playing like this for quite some time already. I guess it's normal for his age, to keep the top level of play and focus all the time is hard, no matter how great he is. This is why I lean towards him not winning a major again, but you never know if he gets in the zone and delivers something extraordinary for a weeek or two. He still can't be counted out completely.
