Very happy that everything went without any problems, Jelena and Stefan are doing great, Nole managed to practice today and already calls himself an "old man" :lolz:

That photo is not of Nole's son, no photos are released yet. Djokovic family plans big fireworks in Serbia to celebrate the birth of their first grandchild.

A little Serbian history, Stefan is the first Serbian king (Stefan the First-Crowned Nemanjic) from the beginning of 13th century and with his younger brother Saint Sava he helped establish the Serbian church.

Much happiness, health, prosperity and love to the youngest Djokovic.

Are you telling me the boy's name has got nothing to do with Edberg ?:nono

Novak planned it properly. It looks like Jelena gave birth in Nice, France. So, Novak
is already in France. So, he does not have to travel much to play in Bercy Masters.
I don't know the exact distances involved; hopefully, he can even come back to the
hospital everyday if needed.

Nice is 20 km away from the Monte Carlo, 1,5h flight to Paris;)

Cograts to my champion and lovely Jelena birth of baby Stefan:heart:

Yes the link does work.....isnt he Adorable!!!!!!!!!

Not really - just give him a couple more months and he would be the cutest little thing out there. Newborns are never adorable they all remind me of newborn rats.

So the kid can claim French citizenship and play for France?

I am not telling you anything Murat;) Who knows why they chose this name? I am sure we will find out in future.

Anyway, a source close to the couple told a Serbian newspaper that Jelena felt pain during night and they took her to the private clinic around 8am. Little Stefan was born around 10 am (so considerate from his early days)

According to the same source, Nole was not present in the room when she was giving birth (might have been sick:lolz: but he did spend the whole day with them afterwards. Jelena's parents are with her, while Nole's parents were in Belgrade where they proceeded to celebrate with closest ones immediately.

There are no photos of Nole's baby yet, but Nole did send one to his mom immediately after the baby was born.

Jelena and the baby will stay in the clinic for couple of days. This is the same clinic and the same private rooms that are booked for Princess Charlene when she is due to give birth to their twins in about 2 months.

Some of the congratulations to Nole and Jelena:

Are you saying that the timing of the birth was determined by nature and is not artificially
selected to suit their convenience?

Congratulations to Novak on being a father!

This was reported a few days ago so I'm surprised a thread wasn't started here.

At the bottom it is confirmed that Novak will play in Paris, which is also somewhat surprising given that it starts less than a week after the birth of his son.
