Yeah, may as well. If someone picks a tie and it comes in, then I reckon 10 bonus points!

Seriously I didn't even know that a game could be ended in a tie, although I don't see a reason why not. I guess if it were a playoff game, they would have to keep playing until somebody scores. I am sure that I won't be predicting any ties because it very rarely happens. We'll worry about scoring it, once somebody picks it. :D

Picking a tie probably could be worth 50 bonus points. On average it happens 1 out of every 2 seasons and oftentimes it screws over 1 or both of the teams involved. A tie is pretty much a loss in the NFL and I do think it is time to get rid of that rule (allowing a tie).

You don't like my Raiders much do you mate?

lol I call a lot of the games based on circumstances. Bigger game for Tampa and they are at home. If Tampa was 4-2 and raiders 4-3 I'd like their chances more. It is one of the toughest to call for sure. And you've been right more than me so your Raiders figure to win. I see we both agree on my Packers

Right on cue. The scrubs find a way to lose the game.

We seem to be joined at the hip @britbox Darn Packers, I expected them to win and they managed to lose with a few minutes left in that game.

Should @Twisted pick games for next Sunday? I lost the order of picking.

Don't put any faith in the Packers and you'll never be disappointed. Poorly run franchise, part of me hopes they suck the rest of the way to get their GM and worthless coach out of town. I think they go 9-7 at best and that may actually be good enough to win their crappy division.

Week 9:

Jets @ Dolphins - Dolphins
Jags @ Chiefs - Chiefs
Eagles @ Giants - Eagles
Lions @ Vikings - Vikes to stop the bleeding but Detroit will be desperate
Colts @ Packers - Colts. Packers secondary is so worthless that this game may look like the last
Saints @ 49ers - Saints
Broncos @ Raiders - Enormous game here, and tough to call. I will give it to Oakland (there you go @britbox :)

^ Thanks T, I haven't made my picks yet... but I'm kinda thinking the Donkeys for that one. I'm on Cloud 9 with the Raiders start, Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and the OL but the defense has a long way to go. Carr is immense man - this guy is going to be one of the best QBs over the next decade and he's clutch too.... but they can't rely on him outscoring teams week in week out... I think the Broncos D is too good and the Raiders D isn't good enough... might change my mind before Sunday... but veering towards the Denver right now.

Bit harsh on the Packers mate - I'll go with them for sure against the Colts at home.

I hear you about Carr. He has progressed year after year and is certainly one of the best QB's in the league already. The defense is not good as you say but they are still winning and really seem in good shape to make the playoffs. AFC West will likely have 2 wildcards between the Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs as none of the other AFC divisions have 2 good teams right now.

As for the Packers they are without their starting cornerbacks and had 2 of their best receivers out last week as well as Matthews, their best player on defense by far. The good news is Rodgers played great for the most part and with receivers no one even here has ever heard of. The bad news is it didn't matter and going forward their best hope is to win a bunch of shootouts and they won't always be playing awful defenses like Atlanta. The Colts will be desperate and they have a dangerous passing attack.
