Dear Moxie, what's more famous than the most popular team in all of sports, the Cowboys Owner, Jerry Jones..Jerry is the last of the ride or die owners that every player wants to play for..As long as you can produce , Jerry will have you on the team and support you regardless of whatever negative public relations issues you can be facing..e.g.If Antonio Brown ( I predict he will be before the month of December ends) was a Cowboy, he would be playing on Sunday vs the Saints.

Oh my, speaking from a noncowboy fan’s POV, “ Jerry’s boys” has a connotation that foremost of all, the team is reflected in the owners image, not necessarily the players or the coach. Owner Jerry Jones is the front and center spotlight attention for the franchise.
