I went for the tight ones, Billie.  (Thanks for noticing.)  And I did notice we girls were on top, up until now.  We picked very differently this week, so  I guess that will change.  I went with some sentimental picks, and that may be my downfall.

Is Oakland your team, BB?  Is this the right moment to ask everyone who they pull for?  (I know Twisted is a GB man, right?)  I grew up in DC, so I'm Redskins, then Saints (lived in NO, and can't resist an underdog,) then Patriots, because we're New Englanders in my family.

I am not a huge fan of any team, but I do have some favourites.  #1 right now are the Chiefs, I also like some teams that my friends are fans of, like Vikings, Seahawks, Packers.  I do like Saints as well.  I don't know much about some of the other teams to pass judgement.

Yes, big lifelong Raiders fan. Not a lot to get excited about for a long time, but times are a changing.

More interesting games this past Sunday.  Pats lost a big shocker at home to Philly.  The other big result was Seattle destroying Minnesota.  I figured Seattle would win a close one but nothing like that.  The Seahawks suddenly look pretty scary again, barring a total collapse they will be making the playoffs which seemed very questionable just a few weeks ago.  I for one am hoping they are the 5 seed and not the 6 seed.

Twisted, I was thinking the same thing about Seahawks, they looked really good yesterday and are rounding in nice form towards the playoffs.  I will wisely choose to pick against them from now on.   Luckily Bills came through for me this time.

Patriots are so injured that yesterday's loss shouldn't come as a surprise.

And what is it about all the missed field goals, even after touchdowns, apparently there were more misses this week than in the whole of last season.

Well, I had a bad week in the pool.  Don't worry, BB, it's only about time until my lack of NFL chops catches up with me, and I'll capture the bottom.  I will, perhaps, be pulling for the Seahawks from here on in.  I've otherwise just thrown my hands up in disgust.
