Just joined the forum. Have been tennis obsessed most of my life, played for a few decades, now just watch. Love sharing impressions with other fans.
Obviously, huge Nadal fan. Also Shapolavov (sorry Rafa) Thiem, Goffin, Wawrinka, Nishikori, Dolgopolov (fading) Shwartzman(how does the little guy do it?) Monfils, Gasquet, Verdasco, Busta ... oh there are too many to name.
Men's tennis is in such an interesting place right now with the huge resurgence of Fedal, and the next gen contenders. With Djok, Waw and Murray all out, it's a whole different ball game.

Welcome, @The Strokes. We surely need new blood to re-ignite the technical tennis discussions. Lot of Nadal fans here... not my case but I have huge respect and admiration for the guy. Don´t mind the occasional sarcasm, one or another pair of posters trading some punches. In the end it is a fine place to talk tennis. Enjoy!

I have lots of blood to offer! Love technical discussions, stroke mechanics, matchups, court tactics etc. I can be very punchy as well, trying to be peaceful in these Fedal days ...

Le Monf! He mainly doesn't get enough respect ya? Incredible athlete, very nice guy. Commies kind of like to complain he's not serious enough. On my last site they were calling him "Clownfils"
He always makes it interesting, and has had really good results in recent years.

This site looked a lot friendlier than some others I was on, so I'm looking forward to being here.
I do watch wta--I'm in Canada and it's currently not on TV (due to Genie's demise?) but I'm seeing it now due to comprehensive coverage of Roger's cup, and we get coverage of the women at slams, and if I'm desperate I can stream it.
Was just at the tennis in Toronto, early rounds. I like to hang on the back courts where I can watch close up, and i got to see a fantastic doubles match Bouchard/Pliskova vs Cibulkova/ Flipkins. They were blasting the ball hard. Surprisginly, Domi can hit as hard as Pliskova. Genie played really well after yet another bad loss, in singles, 1rst round, in front of a home crowd. blech.

Will watch Woz/Svitolina soon.
