I added up where we are with this for now, not taking into account caveats, etc. If you mentioned them as possible on your list, I counted them:
9 - Dolgopolov
9 - Dimitrov
7 - Del Potro
7 - Gulbis
4 - Wawrinka
4 - Tsonga
3 - Ferrer
3 - Fognini
3- Janowicz
3 - Almagro
3 - Monfils
3- Thiem
2- Bautista Agut
2 - Nishikori
2 - Anderson
2 - Youzhny
2 - Gasquet
2 - Raonic
2 - Haas
2 - Davydenko
2 - Verdasco
2 - Berdych
(Honorable mention at this point: Robin Soderling and Brian Baker, both who may be down for the count, were brought up twice each.)
Players mentioned one time: Kohlscreiber, Pospisil, Del Bonis, Isner, Starace, Fish (retired), Hewitt, Tomic, Kyrgios, Kokkinakis, Llodra, Stepanek and Tipsarevic.

Feel free to keep posting. I just thought it would be fun to see how it was shaking out, so far. I suspect that Wawrinka, Del Potro and Ferrer didn't feature higher, since they're bit for granted, and rightly. The point is to get to peoples' other favorites, beyond the obvious.
