Venus will do good to defend her points at Wimby. I'm not expecting much from her. She's too up and down and her serve has turned into a love offering.

Barty on the other hand should win this so she can dethrone Naomi who doesn't deserve to be #1 w/ these mediocre results since Aus.

My initial pick of Gogeous (before the tourney started) will win this one.

Just got home from work

Results s/finals

Goerges d Martic 64 63

Barty d Strycova 64 64

Barty to play Goerges in the final which will be a good match. They have played doubles together this week.

Also delighted that Ash has a chance of becoming No1 if she wins,if she loses she will be just 2 points behind Osaka.Osaka 6,377 points,Barty 6,375 points. If Ash wins 6,540 points.

Very impressed with Barty. She’s the favorite to win Wimby, in my opinion, although I wonder whether the pressure will get to her. I hope not. She’s awesome.

She seems very mature in dealing with situations. So, I don't think pressure will get to her. If she loses, it will be simply because she was outplayed.
