Thanks for saying that, Iona. I was really trying to give Rafa his own "voice" for the English-speaking audience. He's more subtle in Spanish, whereas he tends to give "pat" answers in English.

I slightly resent that you probably didn't even bother to read it, and only use the excuse of my doing it to, once again, hammer at your theories of why Nadal's play is less inspired or inspiring than you think it ought to be, rather than discussing the interview and what Nadal has to say in it.

LOL!!!! In that case, you should be VERY resentful of the fact that up until I posted the 4th reply on this thread less than 24 hours ago, there were a total of 3 1-line replies (from Broken, Kieran, and that one other Nadal fan) that did not even begin to discuss the contents of the interview.

For the record, I did read the entire interview when you first posted it, and I will discuss it in more detail soon. However, I think my comments thus far have already addressed many of the fundamental matters being raised. Of course, you haven't replied to my analysis because you don't have any idea of what to say back.

Let us say that I and Moxie go to business for a day, what ever that business be. Moxie earns Rs.12/- (make it $12 if you need to) by working the whole day and I earn Re.1/-. Moxie translated Spanish article and earned her Rs.12/- while I posted on tennisfrontier and earned Re.1/-. Suddenly, there is huge furore that is Moxie really 12 times better than me. Look, both worked for the entire day. Hold on, neither Moxie nor myself have a problem with what ever we earned. All the furore was from the guy/gal who earned nothing that day. I'm perfectly happy to have translated it for those who enjoyed it. I didn't reply to your "analysis" because there wasn't any...only your usual attempt at selling the rest of us on why Nadal is "lesser" than is to be believed. It had nothing to do with the interview, and so did not warrant my response. Since you read the interview when I first posted it (a week ago,) I'm not sure why you need so much more time to respond to it, as you're already several posts in. However, it wouldn't have taken any deep reconsideration to realize that the headline title of the article was simply a translation of the original. You somehow skipped quoting or responding to that part, Mr. It's-all-about-me.
