And, if yes, by when? Right now, according to the ATP, is 23-19 in favour of the Spaniard.

It has been turning around since 2011 (and yeah, I'm aware Nadal righted the ship for a while). Eventually, Novak will have the more wins. He's younger, especially in tennis years, and he's flat out better on hards, where the majority of the tour is played. It's just a matter of time.

It might take a while, but one would expect Novak to edge in front eventually. But like with Roger, greats like Rafa will continue to surprise us. Both Rafa and Roger seem so stable in comparison to Novak, that any slight drop and Rafa will keep him at bay for longer. It's the fun rivalry to watch. To my mind they're the 2 dominant players at the moment (Rogers recent form excepted). It might not be the big 4 match up I like to watch the most (slight edge to watching Novak vs Roger), but it is so close. Would love to see another RG final this year!

Last year's RG was pretty anti climactic imo so hopefully if they play again next year it'll be better though I have a feeling they won't play again next year.

It depends. If Rafa has another year like 2013, then surface advantage will be irrelevant. He beat Nole twice on hards, once in a major final over four sets. It's not going to be so straight-forward as people might expect - or hope for...

I think the H2H might change, but a lot rests upon Nadal's form, too. A lot of people might think that this guy won't recapture any of his previous great form (except maybe still doing well during the clay season), but I dunno. Something tells me Rafa will hit back hard in '15 and might keep the H2H more or less even as to what it is now!

I've given up trying to call the end of either Rafa or Roger's career!

Haha, same, dude. I remember saying Nadal was done after 2012 and then he trolled me in 2013. I remember saying Federer was done this time last year and he trolled me this year.

No more predictions on my end when it comes to these two champs.

I've moved all posts about Rafa's back treatment to the thread in General Tennis Talk:

Nothing was deleted, only moved.

If you wish to continue discussing that topic, do so there, not in this thread.

Thank you.
