Novak will take Kei... probably in straight sets. Kei can't live with him in the pressure moments.

Nadal v Murray is more interesting. I didn't see either of their quarters but hear Rafa didn't play particularly well yesterday against Sousa and Murray was superb in dismantling Berdych. Still, Rafa is a bit of a nemesis for Andy Murray... and I'd take him... although it might take 3 sets.

nishikori has to go for broke and swing for the fences.

Except that he doesn't look like he's in that space. Kyrgios was controlling a lot of their match today, from what I saw, but Nick still has to learn to win matches that he's actually winning. There was a lot of tentative from Kei today, and yesterday, closing out Gasquet. That's not going to get the job done against Novak. Sure, if he swings for the fences, but he's going to have to manufacture a lot of belief. I'm not feeling it for Kei.

They just showed %points won on second serve. Djokovic 77%, Raonic 27%. Thats the stat of the match really.

He had only 3 ufe in the first set, I was impressed by that. i didn't see how many in the second

Murray must be fresher but crowd will carry Nadal I guess.

Bad game for Andy Murray. Great chance to serve it out and he fluffs his lines. Rafa breaks. 5-4. and back on serve.

Neither player playing well. Murray should have taken that set with so many short balls from Nadal. But he just put them everywhere but inside the court.
Looks like nobody wants to face Novak.

Respectfully,

Nadal had to drop his level to about 20% to lose the 1st set, because Murray didn't seem to want it either. Terrible set of tennis.

Yep, lots of short balls from Rafa, particularly on the forehand. Looks like he's being out-muscled by Andy.
