I thought Tomas Berdych was the coach of Lehecka? I cant see him in his players box, I better put my glasses on:)
Yes there he is , quite a good looker, the wonder of glasses hey lol!
This guy looks like he is related to Berdych.

Yes. T-Berd is his coach. His pupil came to play tonight. I don't see Nads getting out of this. He needed to snatch the youngsters belief by breaking on any one of the chances he had.

Rafa did have BP chances still Judos to Lehecka, played well, especially on serve and deserved the 1st set 75

Rafa lost a touch at the net, his net play is far worse than before. It's understandable after so long time out. He is serving better today, faster than in last matches.

Lehecka played 2 superb games on 5:5 and takes the set.

truth.. very bad choice of where to volley the ball.. Rafa will apply his problem solving skills or he is off to ROMA

I never like to see Rafa lose, but Lehecka is playing out of his shoes, and I don't really see the point of Rafa going any farther in Madrid. Risk injury for too little reward. Rome is the better tune-up, and eyes on the prize, which is Roland Garros.

Jeri's making Nadal look old; out of sorts! His power isn't getting matched & the dropshots aren't being run down by Rafa! Still whining on calls! ;-)
Oh, for heavens sake. He complained about one call. You champion a guy who complains about everything: calls, the crowd, his box, the wind....

I agree. He won a 3 setter. He played well in the 1st set tonight. It's time to bow out of here gracefully and make way to Roma.
