Probably lost because he was rusty from lack of matchplay.Remember it happening at the USO a few yrs ago! It was one WD after another & a retirement! Novak got all the way to the final but lost!
Sasha and his serve are not.....9 DF and counting, he needs to take more time on his serve for startersSascha is playing some great tennis.. Excellent defense against FAA.
i know he’s a fave around these parts but FAA makes Zverev look like a mental giant in comparison. For all that people gush about his natural gifts, if there is even an extra ounce of expectations thrust on his shoulders, FAA folds faster than an origami flower.OMG, WTF's on FAA's mind going right at Sascha like that? He had a whole court to hit into w/ that dreadful dropshot! That might encourage Zrev!
If you combined FAA's talent with Sinner's mental resolve, you have an ideal young tennis playeri know he’s a fave around these parts but FAA makes Zverev look like a mental giant in comparison. I was talking about Sascha defense.. I just tuned in for the last 3 games.. The German was serving like my "beloved" Saba huh, JajajaSasha and his serve are not.....9 DF and counting, he needs to take more time on his serve for starters
FAA is a 'work in progress on clay'.....
Well I did compare him to Saba 'the male version of course' lol!I was talking about Sascha defense.. I just tuned in for the last 3 games.. The German was serving like my "beloved" Saba huh, Jajaja
Do you feel FAA still has 'untapped talent' he hasnt fully reached his overall potential,I know he is only young.,players progress differently regardless of their ageIf you combined FAA's talent with Sinner's mental resolve, you have an ideal young tennis player
Miss Margaret, when you have been in almost 10 ATP finals in less than 3-4 years on tour, your talented isn't untapped but just late blooming. Let's put this in its proper perspective. FAA should have been in the AO final vs Rafa in January. FAA made the semi finals of Wimbledon vs Senor Matteo (who he should have defeated but that's my opinion). FAA's talent isn't untapped but he just haven't been an early riser on Sunday morning. He will eventually figure it out.Do you feel FAA still has 'untapped talent' he hasnt fully reached his overall potential,I know he is only young.,players progress differently regardless of their age
Maybe I used the wrong wording ....saying 'untapped' I feel he still hasnt reached his full potential, as I did say all players progress at their own level in this gameMiss Margaret, when you have been in almost 10 ATP finals in less than 3-4 years on tour, your talented isn't untapped but just late blooming. Man. Rafa's biggest fan on ESPN PTI Mike Wilburn says " Carlos defeated Rafa on "clay" today in Madrid. Maybe Tony This is the changing of the Guard"! Good Grief.. jajaja It's all Good.
I think you are too hard on FAA.. besides Daniil's win at the USO ( thank the LORD) who has reached their full potential in this era. Thiem is the only other. FAA just haven't won on Sundays. He has a decent H2H vs The next Gen( Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitipas and the big hair dude Rublev). FAA owns Sharpo and the rest. Sharpo is the one who hasn't reached his full potential.Maybe I used the wrong wording ....saying 'untapped' I feel he still hasnt reached his full potential, as I did say all players progress at their own level in this game
