Coric was redlining. He managed to hit a whopping 11 winners, that's including 5 aces. So all in all, 6 groundstroke winners. Absolutely pathetic.

The reason this happens is because Nole's opposition feel they have to go for more to make an impression on him! It's not surprising in the least that matches become easier for top players when their opponents don't stay within their comfort zones even though it's suggested they "let'r rip!" :cover :nono  :dodgy:

He's a pusher so 11 winners is probably good lol.

So Monfils lost, does anyone know when is Delpo match next

Delpo has lost to sock.

dammit :cry:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry

Was there any doubt this would happen! It was Thiem's fault he didn't attack Del Po's BH from what I hear since I didn't see that match! It only makes sense to make him win with his weak side! :nono  :dodgy:

i guess because he beat Thiem, i was hoping he wud beat Sock. i have watched couple of his matches, he only slices using backhand..I think he is scared that he will injure it. But that's not gonna get him anywhere

Maybe 20 or 30 years ago; it would be classic! ;) :clap

Actually, he has improved dramatically in that department. In the first matches of his return, yes, he was slicing around 95% of the time (in fact, in one long highlights reel I watched, I bothered to count, so this stat is reasonably accurate). In his recent matches this figure is definitely much smaller (from what I read, less than 50% against Thiem), and he is hitting it harder.

One step at a time...

Monfils fitness is pathetic for a professional athlete. Blowing out of his arse mid point in the tie breaker

Murray plays very well today. Very sharp and aggressive.

Cuevas v. Kyrgios has been a fun match to watch. Nick took the first set in the tiebreak and Cuevas broke him first game of the 2nd set here.

Peakovic playing his heart out, redlining against Agut. Save a bit for the final, you might need it. :)

Joao Sousa has a very funny type of grunting. On the groundstrokes, he grunts sometimes twice:
once before he is hitting the ball, second time after he hit the ball. :snicker
