He won 1-6 6-3 6-4 against a German qualified, I think he still has a long way to win a tournament
Struff played very well...better than his out-of-top 100 ranking. But Thiem started out seeing the trainer before the match started for a foot issue. Like it was a pull in the foot, or strain in the plantar fascia. Probably accounts for the 1-6 first set, but he seemed to work through it. He didn't see the trainer again.

^^ Yeah, he did play well but Dominic was all over the place in the 1st set. Did they also mention something about Thiem having a new racquet?

Veseley takes out Gabashvili 3-6 7-5 7-5.

Gabashvili must have taken close to two minutes towelling down, putting gel on his hands, wiping his face before serving when facing that match point. Don't know what the umpire was thinking in letting him take so long. It might as well have been a changeover.
